He said that the experience of the introduction of the vaccine has been successful.
Responding to a question about whether there were side effects, the academician said that “all are alive, healthy and happy”. He did not specify the number of colleagues who have injected themselves with a vaccine, however, according to him, this is a wide range of the center staff, the developers, the organizers of preclinical studies and technologies.
Gunzburg explained that we are talking about a promising vector vaccine based on adenovirus DNA which has the gene of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. Adenovirus is used as a “container” to deliver coronavirus gene in a cell, start there protein synthesis shell of a new coronavirus and to introduce thus the immune system with a potential enemy.
