Over the past day in Russia, found 8 726 new cases COVID-19. It is reported TASS with reference to the operational headquarters for the fight against the spread of infection. The total number of infections detected during the whole observation period, reached 449 834.

Among the leaders in the number of cases included:

Moscow – 1855

Moscow oblast – 762

Saint Petersburg – 378

Nizhny Novgorod oblast – 330

Sverdlovsk oblast – 251

Rostov oblast – 196

The number of recovered patients with the coronavirus was 8 057 people, the total number recovered reached 212 680 (47.3% of the total cases of infection).

During the day, recorded 144 deaths from COVID-19, since the beginning of the spread of infection died 5 528 cases.

The number of active cases in Russia increased to 231 of the 626. At the same time, in Moscow this figure is declining – at the end of the day it had fallen to 90 905.
