In the village of Elatma (Ryazan region, Russia) a 32-year-old man with a hunting rifle shot and killed five people, according to the Ryazan Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
The incident occurred late on the evening of 4 April.
“According to investigators, the man, standing on the balcony of his apartment, made the remark in the company of young people who were talking loudly in the street under his Windows. Between them there was a verbal conflict in which the man took was in his apartment was a single-barreled smoothbore shotgun, walked into the entrance and fired at four young men and a woman,” the report says.
All of them, according to SK, died at the scene from his injuries.
The suspect was detained. “In the near future will be assigned all the necessary expertise. The consequence intends to petition for election to the detainee of a measure of restraint in form of detention”, – stated in the SC.
For a premeditated murder of two and more persons, the Criminal code provides punishment in the form of imprisonment for the term from eight till 20 years or life imprisonment.
