In Nepal, recorded the first death from coronavirus infections, reports the newspaper The Kathmandu Post , citing the country’s Ministry of health.

May 16, on the way to University hospital in Kathmandu has died a woman who ten days ago gave birth to a child.

The report said that 29-year-old woman on may 6, gave birth to a child, the next day she was discharged and she and the baby returned to his village.

Shortly after returning home, the woman reported fever and breathing difficulties, she was treated at a local medical center. After the patient’s condition worsened, she was sent to hospital in the capital.

Analysis COVID-19 the woman made posthumously.

As of the evening of may 16 in Nepal recorded 281 cases of coronavirus disease.

As of morning on may 17 worldwide coronavirus has infected 4 635 786 people. Victims COVID-19 311 821 people, recovered 1 693 685 people.
