In Montenegro legalized same-sex marriage
The deputies of the Montenegrin Parliament supported the legalization of gay marriage in the country. About it July 1, according to local newspaper Vijesti.
This decision was supported by 42 deputies out of the required 41.
As the newspaper notes, this is not the first attempt to legalize same-sex marriage, but last year, the initiative has not received the required number of votes in the Parliament.
The President of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic on the occasion of the adoption of the law stated on Twitter that his country “became a step closer to joining the most developed democracies.”
