In Mexican Primera division will be no sharing of clubs between divisions
The leadership of the Mexican football League and the owners of all 18 clubs of the elite division Liga MX decided that for the next 5 years the League will be closed: the club will not fly out of the elite division, and representatives of the second power division will not be increased in the class.
While the Mexican second division, Ascenso MX, will become a youth League in which will play only players under the age of 23 years.
It will be 12 clubs, each of which will annually receive 845 thousand dollars.
Clausura 2020, which was suspended because of the coronavirus will not be finished.
Such a decision dictated by the desire to become a closed League for example the North American leagues and challenges of the clubs in the second division.
Before the upgrades, the clubs have to prove that are funded on a “clean” money, and funding sources are stable and reliable. Before the start of the season neither of the clubs Ascenso MX this test is not passed.
