In Kazakhstan detained over 100 participants of protests
6 June Kazakhstan held protests, which police have detained dozens of people. It is reported “Radio Azattyk”.
It was the first meetings after the lifting of state of emergency due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and the entry into force of the new law on peaceful Assembly, which involves a notice within five days of holding a stock, and not permit them.
The radio station notes that the theme of the protest was a credit Amnesty, the release of political prisoners and demanding a ban on the sale of land to foreigners.
Actions called the movement “Democratic choice of Kazakhstan” and the initiative group on creation of the Democratic party.
Protests were held in several cities of the country. According to “Radio Azattyk”, only in Almaty in different parts of the city have been detained more than 100 people. The city government said that the meeting is not agreed.
Some of the places where the action took place, the protesters did not let the law enforcement officers.
