On August 9 on a tea plantation in Kerala in southern India had been a landslide that killed at least 43 people. This is with reference to a senior official informed the news Agency Reuters.
The landslide was caused by torrential rain, it occurred in the early morning, when the workers were still asleep.
The representative of the authorities of the disaster area told Reuters that because of rain the rescue operation is forcedly suspended, but then the search will continue until then, “until you find the last body.”
The meteorological Department of India has warned of heavy rains in some areas, including in the area where the landslide occurred.
