In France, the quarantine was extended until may 11
In France, restrictive measures imposed in connection with the quarantine extended until may 11. The President of the country Emmanuel macron said during his address to the nation on April 13. The text published on the website of the Elysee Palace.
“The most stringent restrictions shall continue until Monday, may 11. This condition is to delay the spread of the virus and the ability to restore power. [Cancel quarantine] will be possible only if we continue to behave responsibly, follow the rules and if the spread of the virus will continue to slow,” – he stressed.
Macron urged French citizens “over the next four weeks to comply with the rules established by the government.”
“In everyday life, we must adhere to the social distancing measures, frequently wash hands. I also want to remind you that everyone who has a chronic disease or suffering from other diseases should be able to continue to consult with your doctor. Because not only virus kills: the extreme loneliness, refusal of treatment can also be dangerous”, – added the President of France.
He stated that on may 11 “will start a new stage”. “We will gradually open kindergartens, schools, colleges, and secondary schools. More people should get back to work and restart our economy and our business. Public places, restaurants, cafes and hotels, cinemas, theatres, concert halls and museums, however, at this stage, will remain closed,” added the macron.
However, he said that “major festivals and events with a large audience can not take place, at least until mid-July”.
