In China due to new outbreaks of coronavirus quarantined closed more than 100 million people

In the North-East of China recorded a new outbreak of coronavirus infection. Under quarantine restrictions in the provinces of Jilin and Liaoning were about 108 million people, writes Bloomberg.

The outbreak began in the city of Shulan (Jilin province). Local sources have not yet determined the source of infection, however, believe that the infection could bring in Chinese citizens returning from Russia, which is now ranked first in terms of the spread of coronavirus.

Despite the fact that in the region confirmed a little over 100 cases, authorities have declared its intention to take “strict measures” to curb the outbreak. In particular, the quarantine will be closed condominium complexes, where there are patients. To leave the house will be one person from each family every two days for two hours to go to the store. In addition, the pharmacies banned the sale of antipyretics and flu meds that the residents could not hide the symptoms.

According to data from the American Johns Hopkins University, the total number of infected people in the world exceeded the 4,75 million people, including more than 316 thousand died 1.75 million recovered. Only in China got sick 84 thousand persons, 4.6 thousand of them died, 79 thousand recovered.
