July 7 bus, which was carrying 36 people, tore down a protective barrier on the embankment and crashed into a reservoir in the Chinese city of Anshun, informs Xinhua.
21 people died. 15 of the wounded were taken to a local hospital.
Global Times writes that among the passengers were the students that today the national people’s Congress passed the entrance exam. At least one of them died.
The entrances to the scene of the accident was blocked by the police. Divers and utilities picked up the car from the water.
Video from a surveillance camera, which Global Times has published on Twitter, shows that the bus was moving strangely: first he slowed down in an extreme right row, and then turned sharply to the left, crossed all lanes and crashed into the water.
