In Berlin burned down the Reichstag
On the night of 29 June in the building of the Reichstag in Berlin was an arson attack, says B. Z.
Burning Board particle Board, is inserted in the window opening on the East side of the building. The site found traces of flammable liquid.
The call came about 50 firefighters, 30 minutes later the fire was extinguished.
During the day the police detained the suspect in the arson, found out the edition. If she had a political motive, is still unknown.
On activities of the Parliament incident has no impact.
The Reichstag was built in 1894. On 27 February 1933 the building was severely damaged in an arson attack. This event is considered as key to the establishment of the Nazi dictatorship in Germany after the fire of the ruling Nazi party led by Adolf Hitler restricted the civil liberties of the population and the beginning of repression against the Communists and social Democrats.
The reconstruction of the building lasted for decades and ended in 1995. Since 1999, the Reichstag seat of the German Parliament – the Bundestag.
