President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko support as head of the state is 72.3% of the citizens of the country. This is evidenced by the results of a survey announced on 28 July the national TV channel ONT.
The channel noted that the study was conducted from 23 to 27 July by the telephone survey.
Lukashenko’s rating has grown in comparison with poll July 10-13. Then for the incumbent President was ready to vote for 69.4% of the respondents.

One of the main opponents of Lukashenka – banker Victor Babariko was taken into custody June 18, a day before the deadline, which is given to collect signatures for the candidate. In Belarus held a protest against the persecution of opposition politicians. The police detained their members and journalists.
Lukashenko is President of Belarus since July 1994.
