In Bangladesh the river encountered two ships, over 30 dead
32 persons became victims of a collision between two boats on the river Buriganga in Bangladesh, reports The Daily Observer.
The incident occurred on the morning of June 29. The larger ship rammed the boat which was carrying more than 100 passengers. To swim to shore was not all.
Among the victims were three children. Identified 29 of the bodies.
Divers continue search, the authorities do not exclude that the number of victims will increase.
According to The Daily Observer, on the scene came dozens of relatives of those killed and injured, as well as volunteers who wanted to help rescuers. The head of the local fire Department demanded that the crowd dispersed.
