In Azerbaijan, the media were forbidden to publish news of the death of journalists and doctors from COVID-19. About it reports the local edition JAMnews, citing the anonymity of the journalist.
The media said that inside editions distributed a statement, according to which websites that publish news about the death of journalists and doctors from the coronavirus, will be punished. The penalties are not yet known.
A message appeared on the background information that the chief editor of the Public television of Azerbaijan, Amrah Faganello died COVID-19. Initially, the news about it spread by the TV station, after him, wrote about this many Azerbaijani sites, but after some time, the news is removed, said JAMnews.
As of 29 July, according to data from the American Johns Hopkins University, Azerbaijan has contracted coronavirus infection, more than 31 thousand people, of which 438 have died.
