In the US, the Muslim woman filed a discrimination suit against the network Target café Starbucks once in one of their establishments in Minnesota her on the glass instead of the name the Barista wrote “ISIS”. On 8 July according to CNN.
The lawsuit was filed by 19-year-old girl named Aisha (his name she asked not to disclose, because he feared for his safety). According to her the incident occurred on 1 July. The girl was in a protective mask, but several times repeated his name Barista at. She was sure that the latter in no way could hear “ISIS” (eng. – “ISIS”) instead of “Aisha” (eng. – “Aishah”).
The café worker also claims he just MIS-heard the name of visitor.
After the incident, Aisha called the head of the institution – he gave her a new coffee and gift card from Starbucks for $ 25.
The representative of the network of cafes in comments to CNN said that the company regrets the incident and the employees of the institution immediately apologized to the girl. He also believes that what happened was not deliberate provocation or discrimination, but only a mistake of the staff.
