Human rights activist and former political prisoner Myroslav Marynovych, founding member of the Ukrainian Helsinki group, expressed his opinion about the controversial situation around the Ukrainian heavyweight Alexander Usik, who starred in the Russian film about Orthodoxy:
“The position of the antennae and Lomachenko is the position of the enemies of Ukrainian statehood. Both of them are clear representatives of the Soviet of the Ukraine. In addition, before the Tendril skeptical spoke about the clashes in Ukraine, as if not understanding what communism has brought many victims to the Ukrainian people.
I’d like to see these two left Ukraine. Usyk and Lomachenko – threatening state. And do not hide behind slogans, they supposedly glorify Ukraine in the sport. Sorry, but don’t need us to glorify. Go to Russia. And if you do not go, I hope that the time will come when you will answer for your anti-Ukrainian actions.”
Earlier ex-the people’s Deputy of Ukraine Iryna Farion expressed indignationthat “a creature with a broken brain, by the name of Mustache, proudly stated that he was Alexander and not object”.
