Hospitals and pharmacies can retrieve the codes “dropped out” of the system of medicines

The operator of the national system of marking the Center of advanced technology development has simplified the purchasing agents, hospitals and pharmacies work in the marking system of drugs with those drugs that for some reason fell out from a chain of traceability to the introduction of mandatory labeling.

This can happen if the distribution chain is broken by its members, for example, codes withdrawn from circulation in the experiment, labeling, or someone passed the information to the Federal state information system of monitoring the movement of drugs (FGIS MDLP). Thus, the system should ensure traceability of the total volume of marked products.

“If someone of the participants in the chain of traceability will receive from partners in the supply of medicines, but will not see the report about the shipment to the FGIS MDLP, these medications can be recorded in the system on your virtual warehouse, giving information on the so-called scheme “the capitalization of drugs.” This means that the company can take the balance of the code list and continue to work with them, even if the chain was interrupted by the other participants in the earlier stages. This scheme will run until the start of mandatory labelling and is intended to eliminate remaining obstacles to testing to pharmacies and medical organizations,” said Sergei kholkin, head of Pharma CRPT.

Thus, pharmacy or medical facility can get the list of codes marked drugs to the balance and to check your system readiness for the start of the marking. In addition, the chain can be restored by the actual owner of the goods – this scheme will operate until July 1, 2020.

October 1, 2019 in Russia, the mandatory labelling of drugs for the treatment of the “seven nosologies”. July 1, 2020, there will be a mandatory labelling of all medicines.
