The decision about the transfer of the monument to Marshal Konev with the square of the Brigade was taken by the local authorities on 12 September 2019. In accordance with the decision, the sculpture must pass to the Museum, and in its place to establish a memorial dedicated to the liberation of Prague by the troops of Nazi Germany. As noted by “Radio Liberty”, the statue of Marshal will become part of the Museum memory of the twentieth century, which is generated in Prague.
