Gutzeit on the reduction of spending: money on the salaries of coaches and athletes
The Minister of youth and sports Vadim Gutzeit considers that at this stage allocated for sport money should be enough.
“We have submitted the money to be solely Olympic and Paralympic sports. All of these types of granted the money. Calendar all athletes and coaches will be provided.
Then we will review the budget, and we will add money to the end of the year we had to prepare athletes for competition.
We have provided funds for salaries of coaches and athletes, for the purchase of equipment to athletes.
Today we see that we will be provided all that we need, after the end of the quarantine,” said Gutzeit.
Note that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has cut funding for sports at UAH 2.3 billion.
