Gone era. Zeljko Obradovic after seven years left Fenerbahce
9-time Euroleague champion Zeljko Obradovic is leaving Fenerbahce. About it reports a press-service of the club.
“I decided to make a break year in coaching. For me it was a great honor to be in such a big club like Fenerbahce. It’s a new start for Fenerbahce, not the end,” Obradovic said.
Note that the last few weeks the white house has been negotiating a new contract with Fenerbahce.
Earlier it was reported that Fenerbahce have appeared financial difficulties. In the new season the club budget will be cut in half, also the team will leave key players Nikola kalinić, derrick Williams and Geoffrey Lowern.
60-year-old Zeljko Obradovic headed by Fenerbahce in the summer of 2013. In 2017, the year he led the team to victory in the Euroleague.
Obradovic is the most successful coach in Europe.
