Georgia has prohibited the movement of cars for the Easter holidays
The Georgian government has decided to tighten quarantine measures and to prohibit the movement of passenger cars in the coming Easter holidays. This was at the briefing said withovetnik Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Chikovani.
12.00 April 17, in time of emergency on 21 April, the country has completely prohibited the movement of passenger cars.
“I want to emphasize that grocery stores, pharmacies or any other objects that still worked, and will continue to operate, and will continue to work services,” – said Chikovani.
According to him, the restriction would not apply to the transportation of goods and machines distribution.
From April 17 in Georgia becomes mandatory wearing of medical masks in confined spaces. Responsible for the implementation of this decision rests on legal persons – owners of enclosed spaces. For the violation – a fine of 15 thousand lari (almost 130 thousand UAH).
Chikovani reminded of the restrictions on entry to the cemeteries, which will operate in the country 10 days from 17 April.
The councillor stressed that Georgia has already recorded 348 cases of infection with coronavirus. At the same time twice was fixed so-called jumps, when the day was revealed by the 30 infected.
