Head coach of “Napoli” Gennaro Gattuso praised his players for the victory in the final of the Italian Cup against Juventus (0:0, pen. 4:2):
“Your sister’s death? Life and especially football gave me a lot. It made me a man. In life you always first think about your parents and family, so naturally what happened, it is difficult to accept. But I have such a passion for football that can’t let him go even for a second.
Anyone who does this work must respect it, because we were lucky. That’s why I get angry when I do not see the passion. Because I have no regrets about my career. I want players saying it, too. I believe in the God of football when you do it right, you reap what you sow and it comes back to you.
We have to play these last 12 games in the Series And with respect. It is our duty to try, we can’t just think that you have reached your goal and give up. It’s hard, a big gap with the leader, but we must try our best”.
