Gennady Gudkov: Putin must go. That’s the main lesson Khabarovsk peaceful riot

In connection with the protests in the Khabarovsk region, Russian President Vladimir Putin must resign. The opinion in the blog on the website of radio station “Echo of Moscow” expressed on July 12, a Russian opposition politician and former Deputy of the State Duma Gennady Gudkov.

“Natural output of 35 thousand (or more?) people on the streets of Khabarovsk – the last “Chinese” warning to Putin and his Kremlin associates. Just if the Kremlin or Putin’s bunker again did not understand, ambulance trouble is not to avoid. The important thing in the Khabarovsk political protest was directed personally against Putin, against his eternal seat in the Kremlin… In the minds of millions already there was a tectonic shift in the public consciousness: Putin is to blame… He has to go. That’s the main lesson Khabarovsk peaceful riot”, – the politician wrote.

He believes that the slogan “Putin resign!” – become a “main trend of the entire political and growing social protest.”

“The power of Putin and his henchmen in more and more people begin to despise and even hate; his henchmen have already booed at stadiums and concerts, and soon it will become a regular and widespread phenomenon,” predicts Gudkov.

According to him, the head of the Kremlin to answer to the people only “whip” – “heavily armed security forces and the repressive mechanism”.

“I dare Putin to use his armed forces against accumulating anger of the people? I’m in his place is not in danger: so you can repeat the fate of a number of dictators of the modern world, have already made such a mistake,” said the opposition leader.

July 9 was arrested by the Governor of Khabarovsk territory Sergey Furgal. Russia’s investigative Committee considers it to be the organizer of at least one attempted murder and two murders of entrepreneurs in 2004-2005 in the territory of the Khabarovsk territory and Amur region.
