Formula 1 needs to start the season 2020 on 3rd July in Austria, and while the current calendar is composed only of eight races in Europe.
The series wants to expand the calendar, and soon plans to add new stages, but if the championship will consist of 8 Grand Prix, it will count as complete and will determine the champion.
“The championship of the eight stages will be counted as a season of f-1, but we are working to add a new race.”
“Now we have 8 races in Europe. The end of the season to be held in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi. That’s 10 stages. We intend in the autumn to add another 5-6 Grand Prix,” said Director f-1 Ross brown.
