Formula 1 has still not published a preliminary calendar of possible start of the season, however, the head of the series of Chase Carey confirmed the rumors in the media about the first races in Austria and great Britain.
On these routes it is planned for two races in a row.
“Actively working with the tracks, trying to make a calendar. Two problems. The first is to determine where you can carry out the stages, the second – how to safely deliver team and all employees.”
“The goal is to start the season 4-5 July in Austria. A week later, to conduct another phase there. Further, the plan in the UK. August-September – we are planning to add races in Europe, are in talks”.
“Just want to get the calendar for the 15-18 race. To stretch the season into January? I would not like, but this possibility is considered. Still want to finish the championship in mid-December,” said Cary.
