FC “Pulse” ahead of “PROTEK” in the ranking of distributors of medicines
Pharmaceutical company “Pulse” was the leader of the Russian market of distribution of medicines in the first half of the year 2020, follows from the rating of the analytical Agency DSM Group. Earlier the first place in the rating was occupied by the pharmaceutical company “PROTEK”, write “Vedomosti”.
According to DSM, “Pulse” in the first half put medicines in 116 bln., which is 13% more than the same period last year. Sales of forms for the six months amounted to 109.9 bn RUB.
The bulk of the sales have the largest pharmdistributors falls on public procurement. So, the “Pulse” of the share of commercial sales of the total is 20.2% in PROTEK’s 17.3% and the company “Katren”, which took third place in the ranking, the share of commercial sales is 18.4% of the total volume of 105.2 billion rubles.
The share of 10 largest distributors on the pharmaceutical market amounted to 70.1%. Compared to the same period 2020 this figure has decreased by 1.3 p. p. the Largest growth companies, which increasingly work with the public sector with the supply of medicines in hospitals and at subsidized government programs.
New to pharmaceutical distribution company “Dzhi Di PI” owned “Pharmacy chain 36.6”, also boosted sales by working with government contracts, analysts say DSM. The company’s sales increased by 5% to 20.6 billion rubles, with a commercial share of 1.8%.
