American Corporation Facebook on Monday, July 27, filed a lawsuit against the Antimonopoly bodies of the European Union (EU) because of encroachment on personal information of their employees. It is reported BBC with reference to the lawyer’s Facebook competition Tim lamb.
The European Commission demanded from Facebook to provide access to documents from more than 2500 search flows, including broad criteria key words. In Facebook say that it means the transfer of sensitive data unbound.
“We have been cooperating with the Commission and hope to provide her with hundreds of thousands of documents,” said lamb.
“The broad nature of the requests of the European Commission means that we would have to pass mainly irrelevant documents that are irrelevant to the investigation,” – said the lawyer.
Lamb stressed that the requested documents contain highly sensitive personal information regarding medical records of employees of private financial papers and personal information about the members of their families.
From 2019, the EU has launched a number of investigations in respect of the Corporation Facebook. One of them dealt with the data array, and the other virtual marketplace for the purchase and sale of used 800 million users in 70 countries.
Since its inception Facebook has already provided the European Commission’s 315 thousand documents, totaling 1.7 million pages. Attorneys Corporation appealed the Commission’s requests in the General court of the European Union, filed July 15, a complaint.
