Today, June 20 at the age of 78 years has died legendary ex-player of inter, Mario Corso.
Corso was left forward of “inter” in the Golden era of the club: the mid-60s team Helenio Herrera twice in a row won the Cup of Champions. Additionally, Corso has won with inter 4 Italian League and 2 Intercontinental Cup.
A total of Corso in the period from 1957 to 1973 he played for “inter” 509 matches in all competitions and scored 94 goals. Also on account of his 4 goals in 23 games for the Italian national team.
Tomorrow inter will resume their season in Serie A home match against Sampdoria.
