Determined women’s volleyball team’s dreams of Europe in a decade

On the official website of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), a survey was conducted to determine the best players who played for women’s national teams and European clubs in the period from 2010 to 2019. With this aim, were involved in three well-known coach who achieved success at major international tournaments. It – Giovanni Guidetti (Italy), Gert van de Broek (Belgium) and Svetlana ilić (Serbia). The task was difficult, because at that time in the volleyball world were demonstrating their mastery of quite a lot of outstanding players.

Tijana Boskovic (Serbia) – world champion 2018, the silver medalist 2016 Olympic games, silver medalist of the world Cup 2015, two-time European champion 2017 and 2019, the bronze prize-winner of the Grand Prix in 2017, the champion of Europe among youth teams, the 2014 winner of the world championship among club teams in 2016, the bronze medalist of the Champions League CEV 2017, the winner of CEV Cup 2018. 8 tournaments of the highest international and European level (including European and world Championships, Grand Prix, club world Cup and others) was recognized as the best striker.

Doigralsya:
Gezde Dora (Turkey) – bronze medalist of European championship 2011, double silver prize-winner of Euroleague-2009, bronze medalist of World Grand Prix 2012 winner of the world championship among club teams in 2013 and 2017, the winner of CEV Champions League in 2011, 2013 and 2017, the winner of the Challenge Cup in 2008.
