Deontay WILDER: “don’t think fury’s the champion. That night I was a zombie”
Deontay Wilder following the defeat by Tyson fury has lost the WBC heavyweight division, but boxer is aiming for a third fight, which will be held in the fall.
“I don’t think fury’s the champion. Don’t see it in this status because there is another fight. As for destruction, all who know me, know that in the day it wasn’t Deontay Wilder. I was like a zombie”.
“I am still experiencing this event, I can’t believe it. Something wasn’t right. Why do I not want a third fight? I want this. The fire still left, will be the final battle,” said Wilder.
It was expected that the third fight will take place in the summer, but because of the coronavirus pandemic of the early autumn, the battle will not be.
