Denys BOIKO: “I was called Mickey mouse and Cheburashka”
32-year-old Ukrainian goalkeeper of Kiev “Dynamo” Denys Boiko told why his nickname in the social network Instagram — “king_kong_71”.
“For me it is something unusual, not to write just your name and surname. The nickname came at a time when I went to the “Besiktas”. There fans are very fond of giving nicknames to my players.
Someone made a very cool video for the song “I’m King Kong” with my cutting. And so it went. I liked it. And I started to use it. And the 71 th room is my favorite number. That’s the number I chose when I was still a football player of “Dynamo-2”.
