In the last 24 hours in the UK from the coronavirus died 539 people. This is evidenced by the country’s Ministry of health, published may 7 on Twitter.
The total number of victims of the epidemic in the United Kingdom increased to 30 615 people. Coronavirus infection confirmed in 206 715 (from 5614 of them the diagnosis was confirmed in recent days).
Thus, the UK ranks second in the world in the number of deaths from coronavirus (more deaths in the US – 74 thousand) and fourth in the total number of confirmed cases of infection COVID-19, behind the US (1.24 million), Spain (220,3 million) and Italy (215,8 million).
As of 9am on 7 May, there have been 1,534,533 tests with 86,583 tests on 6 May.
1,139,626 people have been tested of which 206,715 tested positive.
