Coach NAVI: “we HAVE problems in coordination. Some players are excited”
Coach Natus Vincere CS:GO Andrew B1ad3 Gorodensky commented on the defeat of the team at DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 for Europe. He noted that the team performed worse than usual due to poor coordination and unrest of some players.
“Today was a bad day in terms of coordinating — the game was a little messy. We are aware of this issue and try to fix it as soon as possible. The team has not given even his average game, sometimes the calls (decisions) was very poor. This is not what we show normally, just not the best match for us.
I would say that the problem was coordination, besides some members a little nervous. We’re still trying to understand why this is happening — on-LAN such situations usually arise. But changing the team holds a pair of matches in regular mode, and the following plays was not the plan.
It so happens that in training you do some things, but in the tournament the meeting, start to worry and act quite differently. I would say that it is a psychological problem, which appears online, and we need to understand how to get rid of it,” said B1ad3.
Natus Vincere lost FaZe Clan with the score 0:2 and left DreamHack Masters Spring 2020. The team of the Ukrainian club took fourth place and earned 16 thousand dollars.
DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 for Europe takes place from 19 may to 14 June online. Teams compete for prize Fund in the amount of $160 thousand.
