China will provide $2 billion to help victims of the coronavirus countries

China plans to allocate $2 billion aid to countries affected by the coronavirus. This was during the opening of the 73rd General Assembly of the world health organization (who) said the President of China, XI Jinping, the full text of his speech was published by The Global Times.

Jinping stressed that the funds plan to allocate for two years.

He also said that China will cooperate with the UN to create a global humanitarian response centre in China to supply anti-epidemic means. It is also planned to create “green corridors” for expedited transportation and customs clearance of these shipments.

In addition, China will establish a mechanism of cooperation for its hospitals paired with 30 African hospitals and will speed up the construction of the headquarters of the African center for control and prevention of diseases to help the continent to expand its capacity for preparedness against diseases and fight them.
