Midfielder “Monaco” Cesc Fabregas recalled his period of playing for Chelsea under the guidance of Jose Mourinho (2014-2015):
“When I was working with Mourinho, I realized that he as the trainer had to manipulate my head. This is an ideal coach for top players. He works a lot in terms of psychology, motivates you. One day, after a good match he told me that we played terribly, although I was waiting for what he would say about a good game.
In 2014 he called me and said, “I need only two players. I will bring Diego Costa, and if you let me go”… After that he took a piece of paper, drew a diagram and said “This team will be the champion”.
He has a system that works very well. And he needs specific players in this system”.
Earlier, Mourinho admitted that he cried after the victory over Dynamo in Kiev.
