The Bundesliga is closer to all European Championships for the return of the football season and at best may come back in may, but the German football League cannot make the decision independently.
At a press conference the head of the League Christian Seifert confirmed that the clubs of the first and second Bundesliga are ready to play without the fans, but the final resolution should give authority.
It is expected that the decision of the Chancellor Angela Merkel will report next week.
“Don’t we make the final decision, and power. But there’s definitely reasons why we may refuse to host matches. Just for the reason that it would be wrong to play football during a pandemic”.
“We have several plans for when to resume the season. For example, in the first half of may. Teams are already training and will not be able to say that they will start with the cold start.
“We hope that our arguments will work. The resumption of the season – the only path that will enable clubs to survive,” said Seivert.
In addition, the head of the League said that the whole algorithm worked out how the players will be regularly tested for coronavirus.
