Bogdan BUTKO: “the Transition in Amkar? I had no choice”
The Shakhtar defender Bohdan Butko, who is now on loan at Lech, explained why he decided to spend the season 2015/2016 within the Russian “Amkar”:
“I knew where I was going. But to be honest, I considered the transfer solely with the football side.
The first two of the season in “Illichivets” was productive. I’ve progressed, played in the national team. However, then came the recession, began to understand that treading water. Felt I needed to change something. I was asked to stay, but I decided to leave.
There was even a moment when she was sitting without training and football for almost three months and was looking for a team. Variants was not particularly so, when the offer from Perm, everything was decided fairly quickly. The agent came to view, I took two fees and only then to me have signed a contract.
Therefore, the situation does not look so that I am considering with the Russian or other Championships. I just had no choice at that moment.”
