Bloomberg is ready to allocate for support of Biden’s $250 million
Former new York mayor, billionaire Mike Bloomberg is considering a significant increase in spending in support of a candidate for the U.S. presidency from the Democratic party Joe Biden. On 15 may, told the TV channel CNBC.
Financial assistance to Bloomberg could reach $250 million.
“As Mike said, he supported former Vice-President in the confrontation with [the current President] Donald trump. Currently, we are looking at how best to support Biden, and the Democrats ‘ victory in the elections in November,” commented a representative of Bloomberg.
The TV channel notes that according to a new poll, Biden is ahead of trump in the electoral support of almost 5 percentage points.
Blumberg also fought for the right to become a candidate for the U.S. presidency from the Democrats, however, in March announced the completion of a campaign after the failure at the primaries of the Democratic party.
The U.S. presidential election scheduled for 3 November. The main battle for the White house traditionally conducted between the candidates of the two major political forces of the States: the Democratic and Republican parties. Democrats will almost certainly introduce Biden (all of his rivals have already dropped out of the race), Republicans – trump.
