Bernie ECCLESTONE: “we Need to cancel the entire season of Formula 1 right now”
The former boss of Formula 1 Bernie Ecclestone told a German Sport1, what should be done with the current season in the major racing series:
“Nobody knows how the situation will develop, therefore it is better to cancel the whole season right now. In Liberty think that they know what to do, but it’s not basketball or American football. There are too many conversations and it does not fit the DNA of Formula 1.
I used to get a lot of criticism about my preferences dictatorship, but now there must be people who make decisions. During this coronavirus crisis once again becomes clear that democracy does not work. Democracy never worked in F1. Better to do like I do. Otherwise nothing would have happened”.
