Detained in Belarus, journalists of Russian TV channel “Rain” Vladimir Ramensky, Vasily Polonsky and operator Nikolay Antipova will be deported from the country. About the Agency TASS said the press Secretary of the foreign Ministry of Belarus Anatoly Eyes.
The Ministry added that Russian journalists were in the country without accreditation.
Eye said that when the foreign Ministry of Belarus has accredited over 300 foreign journalists, at the same time, “who for some reason allows himself to consider that it is possible geeky way to ignore the law and do as they want.” He stressed that “Belarus is not a thoroughfare, and the state where laws work”.
In Belarus today is the main day of voting in the presidential elections of the country.
In the elections involved five candidates: incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko, wife of the arrested blogger Svetlana Tikhanovski (it is considered the main rival of the current President), co-chair of the Association “Tell the truth” Andrey Dmitriev, ex-Deputy of the house of representatives Anna Konopacka and the leader of the party “Belarusian social-democratic Gramada” Sergey Cerecer.
According to the exit poll, Lukashenko voted almost 80% of voters.
