In Odessa killed athlete Ekaterina Katysheva, who was a member of the ultra marathon on the territory of Kuyalnik estuary.
Press Secretary of the Odessa regional state administration Denis Sokolov wrote: “Kate died. Stroke. The doctors did everything they could. You know what 8 hours unconscious in the desert when the temperature is below 40 degrees. Very painful.”
The girl went missing during a marathon. She got heat stroke and gone, it was looking for 8 hours. Police work tracked down the athlete. She was near the pond unconscious.
Catherine was immediately taken to a medical facility. As it turned out, she also got hypothermia, as I lay on the ground till night. At the hospital, the athlete died due to a stroke.
Katysheva became the first in the history of Odessa girl who ran 100 km Distance it has covered in 17 hours and 14 minutes. The athlete was the founder of the platform for the sale of books in the Instagram “books of Ukraine”.
