Austrian Minister about the murder of Chechen blogger: Too often foreign conflicts began to migrate to Austria

The Minister of internal Affairs of Austria Karl Nehammer said that the Austrian law enforcement authorities actively investigate the murder of a political refugee, blogger Mamehana Umarov in Austria. About it reports the edition ОЕ24.

Nehammer stressed that the police are trying to figure out the names of the masterminds of the murder, and noted that too often foreign conflicts began to migrate to Austria.

The Minister said that the criminal radical groups “are firmly in place”.

According to him, Austria has no place “parallel societies”, they will be punished “to the fullest extent of the law.”

Umarov was killed on the evening of 4 July in the suburbs of Vienna, Gerasdorf shot in the head. Soon militiamen detained the driver of a car alleged killer. Umarov had applied for political asylum in Austria.

In social networks and interviews he referred to himself as a former mercenary who called himself a former employee of the Ministry of Sharia state security of the Republic of Ichkeria, told about the relations of the Russian special services with the assassinations of political refugees and former Chechen separatists in Europe. Umarov has been a consistent critic of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, often his remarks was offensive.

On suspicion in murder Umarov in Austria, the detained natives of Chechnya Sarali Akhtaev and Salman Magomadov, said the project “the Caucasus.Realities” with reference to a source in one of the European Chechen Diaspora.

Former Ukrainian MP Igor Mosiychuk said that Umarov sought a way for American politiciansto talk about the murders by order of the Chechen authorities around the world.

Ukrainian journalist Andrei Tsaplienko said that Umarov in Chechnya tried to order the murder of volunteers Amines Okueva, Adam Osmayev and Mosiychuk.
