For the Victory parade on the morning of 24 June was held in Moscow, attended by leaders of eight countries, reported the press service of the Kremlin.
To participate in the celebrations in Moscow came to the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sooronbai Jeenbekov, President of Moldova Igor Dodon, the President of Serbia Alexander Vucic, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev and member of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Serbs Milorad Dodik.
In addition, they arrived in Moscow the leaders of unrecognized Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
Before the parade, Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed the guest heads of state at the armorial hall of the Kremlin.
At the same time, the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan announcedthat Jeenbekov did not participate in the Victory parade due to the fact that the two members of the Kyrgyz delegation’s visit to Moscow was diagnosed with coronavirus.
“The President has decided to abstain from participation in the events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war. It would be appreciated as an irresponsible step in relation to those who participated in the events”, – said the press service of the Zheenbekov.
Upon returning to Bishkek, the President and other members of the delegation will go to isolation until the results of the tests.
The report did not specify, did Jeenbekov participated in the meeting with Putin before the parade, but published to YouTube footage its not visible.
