84-year-old Soviet and Russian actor Armen Jigarkhanyan hospitalized in one of Moscow hospitals. About this “Interfax” said a friend of the actor Arthur Soghomonyan.

According to him, Dzhigarkhanyan was admitted to hospital the night before and will stay in the hospital for about a week. Soghomonian said that the actor is preventive care and routine treatment. He also denied rumors that Dzhigarkhanyan suffered a stroke and is in intensive care.

In the last few years Dzhigarkhanyan often got to the hospital in serious condition due to exacerbation of chronic diseases. In April 2018 it was reported that actor for a short time fell into a coma.
