The document says that Russia may secretly provide advice to candidates on a post of the head of the White house. Who, exactly, is not specified. ButAmerican authorities “had not previously seen that Russia tried to use similar actions against the United States”, but political advisers close to Russian President Vladimir Putin businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin participated in covert campaigns in many countries of Africa, noted made up of the Memorandum.
The document outlines eight possible Russian tactics, which are divided into high and moderate threat.

The Agency noted that the administration of President Donald trump concerned about possible Russian interference in American politics, despite the fact that trump is trying to downplay the participation of the Kremlin in his victory over Democrat Hillary Clinton in 2016.
In October 2016, the U.S. government has formally accused Russia of hacking the servers of American political parties, and meddling in the presidential election process in the country. In the Kremlin these accusations are called “nonsense”. Published in January 2017, the CIA report said that Putin personally ordered to start a campaign to intervene in U.S. elections.
