Despite requests from the UN and the who to cancel the mass and sports events in Belarus, the President Alexander Lukashenko is confident that the country has chosen the right path of dealing with the coronavirus and will soon forget about this problem.
“We are always looking for health care, didn’t give it to private hands. Yes, we are not easy. We are not a wealthy country, we are expensive. But it will return a hundredfold”.
“We have to fight for everyone, and we can do it. If we continue on this path, we will in a month forget about the coronavirus. We chose this path. And I am convinced today that we did the right thing. We have not introduced a state of emergency,” – quoted Lukashenko BelTA.
On Friday, Belarus launched the 8th round of the football championship.
