AI Google will redraw your photo in the style of the paintings of great artists

There are many applications that are using special filters transform photos into works of art. For example, you can give your selfie a subtle, watercolor look or change the color and composition. And now, thanks to Google, you have the opportunity to take pictures in the style of your favorite artist.

Art Transfer is a new feature of the Google app Arts & Culture, which enables to apply the style of famous paintings to the photos, the bold swirls of Vincent van Gogh to the surreal canvases of Frida Kahlo.

Art Transfer based on algorithmic models, which not only blends the images, and produces a unique “rebuild” the image on the basis of the specific artistic style. And it all happens right on your device without using the cloud.

To use the new feature, you need to open the camera menu in the Google app Arts & Culture and select the “Art Transfer”. Then choose the picture and pick him one of the dozen, we offer the masterpieces of renowned artists. You can even use the scissors icon to select which parts of the photo you want to apply the style.
