FIFA soon going to announce the decision to postpone for one year (from 2021 to 2022) updated Club world Cup, where it is expected the participation of the winners of continental club competition the past four seasons.

The tournament was supposed to start in June 2021, but the shift of Euro 2020 for this period is forcing FIFA to revisit the situation. New competitions were planned every 4 years one year before the world Cup, taking the slot of the cancelled Confederations Cup.

In addition, FIFA plans to shift the transfer window, and also to cancel the international matches in September, October and November to enable the national Championships to create an appropriate calendar for the season 2020/21.
