Russian billionaire, owner of Chelsea FC Roman Abramovich bought the painting “the Scream” by Norwegian painter Edvard Munch, considered one of the most famous works in the style of expressionism. About it reports the Telegram-channel Sotheby’s Life. This publication is also referenced by some Russian media. In the English press about the sale of the painting by Munch was not reported.
“Roman Abramovich has once again distinguished itself as a connoisseur of art. He bought the famous painting “the Scream” by Munch (one of the four options) for $120 million,” – said in the message.
Other details the public does not. Edition Eurosport.ru writes that the painting was sold at Sotheby’s in new York.
